Handling and Support

Davit arms turn bundle removal from a crane operation into a routine task, and they cost far less specified with the unit than retrofitted. Saddle supports, lifting lugs and sliding-saddle slot details are all sized against calculated thermal growth.

On vertical units the equivalent items are lug or skirt supports and a confirmed overhead lift route.

Process and Safety Fittings

Vacuum breakers where a steam space can go subatmospheric on cooldown. Sight glasses where liquid level or flow needs to be seen. Vents and drains located at the true high and low points in the installed orientation rather than where the drawing found convenient.

On sanitary units, spray balls, annular distributors and sanitary sample connections are specified alongside the exchanger so that dead-leg limits are respected.

Insulation and Instrumentation

Removable insulation jackets for personnel protection and heat conservation, designed so the bundle can still be pulled. Thermowells and pressure connections sized and located for the control scheme rather than added afterward.

Tell us the accessory list at quotation. Every one of these works better as part of the drawing than as a field modification.
